Dental implants have been readily available in America and Europe for quite some time and are now becoming increasingly popular in Britain.
Dental implants replace missing roots with a titanium implant that can be used to carry a crown or bridge or to anchor a denture.
There are many different manufacturers of dental implants on the market, and their systems vary a great deal. At Combe Road we use Bicon® implants for most applications because we believe this system has distinct advantages over the others currently available. However, we keep all developments under review and have recently adopted Imtec® "mini-implants" as a potential alternative system where conventional implants may not be suitable.
We run specific implant clinics with the specialist services of Dr Chris Bell whose expertise allows the Combe Road team to offer more extensive treatments, especially for patients with limited bone levels. Additionally our own Dr Touraj Razavi has completed a MSc in Implantology.

PAYMENT METHODS
The following payment methods are now available:
1.PAY-AS-YOU GO
We accept payment by cash, cheque, debit card and credit card. We do not accept
charge cards such as American Express or Diners.
2. CAPITATION
Patients can pay for routine dental care through regular monthly payments into either
Denplan or our own in-house Smiletech capitation schemes. Further details are available
from Reception.
3. ZERO INTEREST/LOW INTEREST CREDIT
We now have an arrangement with Chrysalis Medical Finance Ltd to enable our patients
to spread the cost of major dental treatment through a finance agreement. We can
offer up to £6000 interest free over 12 months or up to £10,000 at an interest rate
of 7.9% APR over a period of up to 5 years. Further details are available from Reception.
