Smiletech CareHow Much Will The Plan Cost You?
The plan is available to all patients, subject to a fee scale based on previous dental history but starting at only £15.20.  Children can also be enrolled at the reduced price of only £11.10. We also give a discount of 5% to the second and subsequent members of your immediate family enrolling in the scheme.

Before you enrol with the scheme, we undertake a full clinical examination and tell you whether any outstanding treatment needs to be carried out prior to entry to the scheme.  Occasionally, it might be necessary for us to exclude specific teeth from the scheme where a long-term problem exists.

Paying for your membership is easy by monthly direct debit from your bank or building society.  Just compete a direct debit mandate and tell us when you would like your payments to start.

The Smiletech Continuing Care Plan includes insurance to cover emergencies outside normal surgery hours and emergency treatment at all times if you are outside the local area.  A summary of the cover provided and full details of the policy are given in the A&E Summary and A&E Policy leaflets.

Smiletech Family
Smiletech CareRegular dental check-ups for you and your children are important for overall health care because undetected dental problems can have a major effect on your overall appearance, life style and general well-being.

The standard Denplan and Smiletech schemes provide comprehensive dental treatment but they may not be for you if you generally enjoy good dental health.  For those families who wish to guarantee a high standard of regular dental care, with all the facilities of a private dental practice, but who do not require comprehensive cover, we have the Smiletech Family Plan.

What The Smiletech Family Plan Gives You And Your Children

  • Two check-ups per year, including intra-oral (small) X-Rays and scale and polish

  • Appointments with our Oral Health Educators to help you avoid the need for future dental treatment

  • 10% discount on our standard prices for other dental treatment at Combe Road

  • Insurance cover for accidents, out-of-hours emergencies and holidays

How Much Will The Plan Cost You?

  • £17.30 per adult per month

  • One named child enrolled free for each adult member

  • £5.80 per additional child per month

Most dental capitation or membership plans are not available to patients with outstanding dental problems.  This can mean major expenditure before you get to enjoy the financial benefits of regular monthly payments. Unfortunately, some patients go through extensive remedial treatment only to let things go again once the initial treatment has been completed.  We have therefore set up the “Smiletech Plus” plan which enables you to join our Continuing Care Plan at the outset of treatment.  We can sort out your immediate problems and you can secure long-term care to keep your teeth and gums in good condition so that you can enjoy life to the full.  Not only that, we can also set up monthly payments so that you can spread the cost of all your treatment, including the initial remedial work.

How to join
Before you enrol with the scheme, we will undertake a full clinical examination and provide you with a detailed cost estimate for the work necessary to sort out any problems (the Treatment Plan).  Based on this examination and your previous dental history, we will also advise which long-term Smiletech category would be appropriate for you.

Paying for your treatment and membership
As with the standard Smiletech plan, paying for your treatment and membership is easy by monthly direct debit from your bank or building society.  The cost of the restorative work can be spread interest-free over 12 to 24 months.  Your monthly payments over this period with consist of the Treatment Plan costs plus the monthly care plan subscription.  Your monthly payment will reduce to just the subscription rate once the Treatment Plan costs have been paid.
