Patient Comfort
We aim to provide comprehensive and up-to-date dental care at Combe Road in an environment that is as comfortable, friendly and relaxing as possible. We like to promote a family atmosphere and are always ready to answer your questions.
We have 3 surgeries, including one on the ground floor which can be made available to any of our patients who may have mobility difficulties. We have 2 waiting rooms with a good range of reading materials for adults and play houses to keep younger children amused.
Our surgeries are all air-conditioned and we can adjust the temperature to suit you.
We all strive for the ideal of pain-free dentistry. As standard, all our dentists use anaesthetic paste on your gum to prevent any discomfort with the local anaesthetic.
We also keep a number of different local anaesthetics in our surgeries because individual patients find that some work better for them than others.
There are some patients for whom local anaesthetic has never been particularly effective – and for them we now stock Articaine® which seems to work exceptionally well.
If you have tooth ache or any other dental emergency, contact us early in the morning and we will try to see you that same day. Out of hours, we are members of an emergency rota of local dentists available between 6.00 pm and 9.00 pm weekdays and 9.00 am to 9.00 pm at weekends.
Should you have any suggestions of how we can improve our service to you, there are suggestions books in the waiting rooms or you can talk to our receptionists.
